Opportunities to serve
We are seeking to place 3 teams that will serve for a 2-year term as soon as possible. In order to make that happen, we are first seeking gifted leaders to give leadership to each of these teams, and then for the right team members to partner with those leaders.
Rwanda
We want to place a team in Rwanda. 4 hours southeast of Kigali, and 7 km off the main road is the village of Kigufi. We are partnering with the CEER, an association of churches along with other like-minded partners in Rwanda, to place a team of 10-12 who will live in Kigufi, to help develop a school. Every one of the students here has been personally touched by the genocide of 1994, either orphaned or many became a child head of household at a young age. This team will be teaching English, Computers and AIDs/HIV education in the school and living among the people of the community. In addition, this team will be involved in Community Health Projects that utilize the resources of the area to address public health issues the community is facing.
India
We are also exploring the potential of placing a team in India and have several potential sites we are working to develop. In each of those areas, the team will be working with the underserved in an overlooked part of the country. In particular, there are 3 demographics of people that the team in India could potentially be working with; women, children or developmentally disabled. This team will also be involved in community health projects that utilize the resources of the area to address public health issues in the community.

East Timor
We will be working with the Evangelical Free Church of Singapore to establish a base for ministry in the interior of this young nation of East Timor. We are currently working with the local government to finalize plans for a team in the town of Hato Builico at the base of East Timor's highest mountain. We have been granted access to a government owned guest house for use by our team as they live and work in Hato Builico. The team will be involved in education, agricultural diversity, and establishing a solid link between a local group of believers and other area churches.
